How many practices a week for travel? Two practices a week.
How many games a week for travel? 1-2 per week. Saturdays are friendly games while Sundays are league games.
When does the travel season run? Fall - Mid/Late August until early November. Spring - April until early/mid June
Do players have to play both fall and spring? Yes, travel players are expected to commit to the entire school year which includes both fall and spring seasons. Families need to understand failing to adhere to this commitment lets youth athletes down as leaving early causes gaps in rosters. Please only accept an offer if you are willing to fully commit to the program.
Does travel play in the winter? This decision is up to the individual teams but typically teams decide to rent indoor space and play games at some local indoor facilities.
How far away are travel games? Games are all in state and vary in distance. Typically 15-45 minutes for away games. Home games are played at Norton Park.
How much does travel cost? $180 per season (two seasons - Fall & Spring)
Will my child have to purchase a uniform? Yes, the uniform will be used until the player needs another one (outgrow, lose, etc) and the kit typically costs around $150.
